Description
Silicea gel is a dietary colloidal preparation of natural silica in which microscopic particles of silica are so finely dispersed in water that a gel is formed. Silicea provides silica in its purest, most potent form. Needed for the structure of connective tissue in the body.
Silica has important functions in the human body. The prerequisite for the functioning of the metabolic sequences in the tissue – especially in the connective tissue – is a favourable binding of water and swelling of the protein bodies, which is influenced by the silica content. The silica connections in the organism age like any colloidal system. Silica levels in the body also depend on the absorption and utilisation from nourishment.

Internally as a silica supplement, for the maintenance of general well being and maintenance and improvement in the condition of hair, skin and nails. Externally assists in the relief of mild to moderate acne, the effects of psoriasis on the skin, minor superficial wounds such as cuts, scratches and abrasions and sunburn. As a silica supplement, we recommend taking 1 tablespoonful (15mL) of Silicea daily diluted in water or juice about 1 hour before or in between meals.
