Jojoba oil is actually a golden liquid wax that comes from the jojoba bean. Research has shown that the wax ester present in Jojoba oil bears an amazing similarity to the protective wax produced by human skin, which enables the jojoba to penetrate deep into the skin’s layers where it helps to regenerate skin cells and repair tissue damage. The powerful antioxidant properties of Jojoba oil also go to work deep in the skin’s layers to protect against signs of premature aging.
