Description
The gentle uplifting aroma of Bergamotessential oil is most commonly used for treating states of stress and anxiety.

Benefits
Bergamot oil has a refreshing, lively and cheerful character. Most are familiar with the aroma as it is used to scent Earl Gray tea. It can be used in a spritzer, massage blend or bath as an uplifting, strengthening remedy for premenstrual stressand post-natal stress. Bergamot is particularly beneficial in facial oils and creams for the treatment of skin conditions, especially those triggered by stress or associated with oily skin, acne, cold sores and eczema. Added to a mouthwash it will also combat infection, relieve mouth ulcers and treat bad breath.

Blends well with: all essential oils including black pepper, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lavender, mandarin, rosemary, sandalwood, ylang ylang.
Precautions
May be irritating to sensitive skin. May increase skin photosensitivity therefore do not use before sun exposure. Do not take internally. Essential oils should always be blended with a base oil (such as sweet almond oil) before being applied to the body.
