Crunchy Kale Chips

These crunchy kale chips are quick and easy to make and much healthier than potato chips!

  • 1 bunch of Kale (washed and dried)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • Parmesan Cheese (Optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 180C degrees.
  2. Wash the kale then gently pat it dry. Tear the leaves off the large central stem and then into pieces if very large, discard the stem.
  3. In a large bowl drizzle the olive oil onto the kale, using your hands, massage the oil into the leaves.
  4. Sprinkle the kale with cumin and paprika
  5. Alternatively a sprinkling of ground Parmesan is yummy too
  6. Cover a baking try with baking paper and lay out the leaves onto it.
  7. Sprinkle with Himilayan salt then bake for about 15 minutes, turning the leave half way through.
  8. Leaves should be crisp and curled at the edges.

Kale chips are just the thing for a lunchtime snack, or instead of popcorn while watching a movie (better make two batches though!)
