This delicious recipe can help to stop a cold from developing, provide relief for an already developed cold, improve your immune system and help to warm you up. It’s easy to make and sure to become a winter favourite.

Ginger teaLemon, Ginger and Honey Tea

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 3cm cube of ginger, cut into fine slices
  3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  4. 1 tablespoon honey
Bring the water and ginger to the boil. Add the lemon juice and simmer for 5-10 minutes.  Pour into a mug and stir in honey to taste. This fresh drink can be enjoyed at anytime but is especially good for relieving a cough and cold symptoms.   Article by Naturopath Janne Ramsay
