Leptospermum scoparium also knows as New Zealand Tea Tree or Manuka, is known to be used for its medicinal properties. Bees harvest nectar from the Manuka tree to produce a honey that contains unique plant phenols naturally present at varying levels. This medicinal honey has been used as food and as medicine.
Propolis
A natural healing balm made by bees that contains vitamins and minerals, propolis helps to boost your immune system. To further help fight off colds, flu and other infections, propolis contains bioflavonoids that have antibacterial and antioxidant properties.
Propolis may also protect from free radical damage and oxidative stress which are part of many modern-day illnesses.
