Description
Cedarwood essential oil is commonly used in skin and hair care because of its ability to balance oiliness and/or dryness of the skin and scalp. Its woody aroma adds a powerful underlying note to any blend. Beneficial when stressed.
dry, warm, sweet, soft, woody, balsamic. A base note.
Benefits
A sweet woody oil that encourages strength, focus and balance. Cedarwood is antiseptic, anti-spasmodic and regenerative making it suitable for many applications. It may be directly applied to acne, shaving nicks or oily skin or blended into afacial oil. It can be added to steam inhalations, therapeutic baths and chest rubs to treat respiratory problems characterised by congestion, infection and spasmodic cough. It is also useful in massage blends to relieve arthritis andrheumatism.
