This raw delight is packed full of flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. In fact, raw cacao contains one of the highest antioxidant value of all foods in the world.
Cacao may help to prevent cancer, reduce risk of cardiovascular disease and slow the aging process.
In addition, this superfood has been shown to elevate mood, boost cognitive performance, increase energy and stamina and provides high amounts of essential minerals.
The slice also features Coconut oil, shown to boost metabolism, decrease cholesterol, improve immune system, aid digestion and improves hair and skin.
Berries are super high in antioxidants, quercetin, vitamin C and are very alkalizing to the system.
Nuts are high in protein and good fats, shown to reduce risk of cardiovascular disease and improve skin and hair.
This slice is so quick and easy to make for a low sugar or sugar free (depending on your choice of sweetener) nutritious treat or a snack for when those sugar cravings strike. Store in a container in the fridge and freezer.

Raw Cacao and Berry Slice
- • 1 cup nut butter – cashew (almond, macadamia or brazil nuts.)
- • ½ cup coconut oil (melted)
- • 2 heaped tbsp cacao
- • 3 tbsp rice malt syrup (coconut sugar or 3 pinches of stevia powder)
- • ½ cup desiccated coconut
- • 1/3 cup mixed berries
- • 10 nuts
- Line a baking tray or kitchen plate with baking paper.
- In a food processor, blender or stick blender mix all the ingredients together except the berries and nuts.
- When a smooth and creamy consistency is achieved pour onto the baking tray or dinner plate and scatter with berries and nuts.
- Place into the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Slice into pizza-like shapes and enjoy.
