Here are some healthy holiday habits that will put the spring back in your step!

  • Accept and let go of the things you cannot change, or that did not turn out the way you planned.
  • Take a day to do something special just for you, something that will make you happy, feel relaxed and reconnected with who you are.
  • Don’t join in with the drama queens and the stress heads, it’s not your job to fix other people’s lives, love the people around you, but you don’t have to carry their baggage.
  • Have a technology free day, unplug, disconnect, go offline and smell, feel and taste all that’s around you, be fully present.
  • Spend time with your favourite people.
  • Practise positive affirmations, swap them for your negative thoughts.
  • Don’t be judgemental of yourself or others.
  • Practise thankfulness, when you are thankful for the little things life is easier to enjoy.
  • Give without expectation.
Don’t plan everything, make space for rest/naps and spontaneity, who knows what you could rekindle if you allow the time and space for change.
