How are you feeling about the return to work? If good – that’s great! If you’re not feeling fantastically well, don’t worry, you’re among many. The year is young, and the possibility of a mindset readjustment and a successful start is still accessible! It may now be time to weave in some wellness winners to revive your motivation and bust the back to work blues.
Work mode: On!
- · Organise your workspace. Tidy up your desk and clear out unnecessary items to create a fresh and productive environment.
- · Set clear goals. Reflect on your personal and professional goals for the upcoming months. Write down your priorities to stay focused.
- · Plan your schedule. Mentally prepare by looking over your calendar for the upcoming weeks, noting any important meetings, deadlines, or projects.
- · Try Herbs of Gold L-Theanine 200mg. L-Theanine is known for its ability to assist mind relaxation and calm the mind without causing drowsiness. It works by assisting the synthesis of neurotransmitters, notably gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), dopamine and serotonin, which play a crucial role in supporting concentration and focus.
Be kind your mind
- · Mindfulness. This is a simple yet effective tool that can help you zero in on what matters. Digital detoxing, gratitude journalling, taking stretching breaks can assist in the readjustment phase and reduce overwhelm and stress.
- · Consider Herbs of Gold Mind Ease. This product features KSM-66® Ashwagandha, an award-winning, full-spectrum extract supporting both a healthy stress response in the body while at the same time relieving the symptoms of mild anxiety.
- · Practice positive self-talk. Pay attention to your mind chatter. Make a conscious effort to replace negative self-talk with positive affirmations like: "I am capable and confident”, "I handle challenges with strength" or "I bring value to my work".
Energy, energy, energy
- · Drink up. Dehydration can cause brain fog and fatigue. Bring a bottle to work and make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay energised.
- · Pack energising snacks. Opt for protein dense foods like boiled eggs, hummus and veggie sticks and protein balls. These will keep you fuller for longer, keeping you energised and focused and will help avoid energy crashes.
- · Activated B Stress. This supplement contains activated B vitamins which support brain function and maintain energy production. It also features Holixer™, a proprietary extract of Holy basil clinically studied to relieve symptoms of stress and help the body to adapt to stress[1].
Although navigating the return to work can be difficult, this season actually presents a wonderful opportunity to reassess and start afresh. For extra support, however, why not turn to a wellness care plan to help you conquer the 9-5.
