You don't need to live with Pain and Inflammation

  • Health advice
  • Mar 07, 2014
shoulder painSome days are just plain challenging, but add in pain and your day can become very difficult. In addition to just making things harder, pain can also get in the way of doing what you love. What you love to do is important! We hear people define themselves by activities close to their hearts. I am a; runner, gardener, bush walker, painter…let’s look at what you can do if you are living with pain.

Be flexible

Don’t give up! Explore other ways to maintain the activities that you love to do. This is particularly important if you are living with ongoing chronic pain. Pain calls for a flexible relationship between your body and activity. If you have chronic arthritis and love to garden for example, you may need to make the most of getting outside in the afternoon when your body has warmed up and feels better. If you are an avid bushwalker you may benefit from integrating a gentle yoga practice into you routine before setting out. If painting is your thing, feed your creativity with gorgeous paints and art books to enjoy regardless of how mobile your hands feel.

Chinese Herbal Medicine for Pain Relief

Consider a herbal formula traditionally used for alleviating pain. You can receive the benefits of anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) actions from Chinese herbs in a synergistic formula to help relieve painful symptoms of;
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Bursitis
  • Tendonitis
  • Sciatica
  • Gout
  • Migraine
  • Headache
  • Period Pain
With anti-inflammatory actions of Boswellia (Boswellia serrata) and Willow Bark (Salix alba), Fusion Health® Pain & Inflammation provides more than symptom relief alone. It also enhances joint mobility and connective tissue strength to support normal joint function and repair. The herbal formula promotes healing of sprains and strains and also assists in managing stiffness and swelling to get you moving again. Consider talking with a Naturopath who can suggest dietary or lifestyle changes to help manage pain. You might also be interested in our workshop on using essential oils for pain relief. Living with pain can teach you a lot about flexibility. Continue your relationship with what you love to do and support your body.
